Meadow Road Gallery: India Seunarayan

I’m India Seunarayan. I’m 21 and studying a masters from home in Computer Science, while simultaneously pursuing my passion for photography. Starting out at my university’s open mic nights in my second year of undergraduate study I’ve photographed almost everything, from bands to nature, but this piece is special to me.

For my undergraduate degree I attended Swansea University. Swansea is very much a student city. However, living in a city as a student sometimes feels like you don’t quite belong.

When this original feeling fades away, it then morphs into a fear of the unknown as graduation approaches. As a student who moved home after living away for three years to complete my degree, this fear of the unknown is still very real for me. And I believe that, to a degree, this feeling is understood by everyone.
