Our Community: Kettering Food Bank

Earlier this year we visited Kettering Foodbank to learn more about the wonderful work they do supporting many members of our local community through difficult times. It is a worrying trend that the need for the food bank has risen by 21.6% compared with previous years.

Jane and Lynn spoke with so much gratitude about the support they receive from local businesses and the public, especially during the Harvest and Christmas periods. Sadly as we move into spring, donations often drop off at a time when they are still desperately needed.

If you are able to help, the food bank welcomes unopened, in date foodstuffs, toiletries, nappies and baby food, dog and cat food, or financial donations. You can drop items off at the food bank on Market Street or donate online at ketteringfoodbank.org
