Our Community: William Street Community Garden

Earlier in the year we caught up with the amazing Mandy and Martin from William Street Community Garden – based in the grounds of All Saints Church. The garden was started from funds raised by the people of William Street.

The Community Garden has been going from strength to strength – growing veggies, holding workshops to cook, preserve and enjoy the food they grow, and encourage wildlife by building natural habitats. They also have a wellbeing shed and a sensory garden in the works. 

On 5th September the community garden are hosting a harvest festival to raise funds – featuring local musicians, stalls, William Street’s famous cheese rolling game and many more It’s a great chance to learn a little more about the wonderful work they do.
